The band from North Carolina self released their music during the early years. In 2006, they signed with Atlantic Records and released their debut album, Daylight. In 2009, their third album The Outsiders made a breakthrough and entered the Top 10 on Billboard’s Christian charts and entered the Top 20 of the Billboard 200. Their follow up effort The Reckoning went to number 1 on the Christian charts and jumpstarted a top charting streak with their subsequent releases. Needtobreathe has done massive global tours and sold out shows across the globe. They’ve also won multiple GMA Dove Awards and received a Grammy nomination in 2015.
Husband and wife tandem Drew and Ellie Holcomb first collaborated in 2005. Ellie joined Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors. She later left the band to pursue her own successful solo career. Drew and Ellie Holcomb began touring together, delivering a myriad of Americana, folk, and Christina contemporary songs.
The Coca Cola Amphitheater in Birmingham, Alabama is a multi-tiered open air venue that can house a total of 9,300 people.
