ASK THAT GOD: AFTERLIFE North American Tour

Looking for some answers? Well just ASK THAT GOD because the one and only EMPIRE OF THE SUN is kicking off another round of awesome shows in a North American tour supporting their l2024 release. While they're bringing back all the hits & new material to the stage, the duo shares that it's going to have an all-new production, spicing things up for their latest trek. That means hard-hitting beats, powerful vocals, chants, flashy fits, and more only Luke Steele & Nick Littlemore can pull it off.

From “Walking on a Dream” to “Ask That God,” the pair reinvented what electronic dance music can be, for decades to come. Seeking a higher being in their latest era, it all makes sense — EDM that pushes borders in every chance they get.

“Ask That God: Afterlife feels like a tour of unknowns and possibilities — new visions, new plateaus, fragile breakthroughs. I think things are going to happen on this tour that have never happened before,” Steele shared in an official release about the tour.

“The world is changing. It feels like a revolution in the world, and we have to unite. Love is the power weapon.”

A NEW CHAPTER FOR THE EMPIRE

Before “Ask That God” came out in 2024, Empire of The Sun’s last LP was released in 2016, “Two Vines.” Since they started amassing an empire of fans with the release of their breakthrough track “Walking on a Dream” back in ‘08, every single era of Steele and Littlemore’s creation defined iconic moments in EDM history. While their latest project “Ask That God” came out in 2024 followed by a tour in 2025, the duo isn’t serving the same ‘ol banana this time around. In true Empire of the Sun fashion, they’re brewing something completely new — a live-stage production unlike anything you’ve seen before.

While you anticipate another round of Ask That God on stage, let’s take a look back at what these hitmakers have shared about the record, one that united them back after a few years of challenges and reflection.

“The record presents itself as a joyful record but it is coming from moments of trauma to achieve that,” Steele shared with Double J.

“It feels like a very pivotal time. We have a new song to sing, we have to step into a new doorway — a new chapter,” they shared in an official statement leading up to the tour. All set to keep breaking barriers, they’re looking forward to sharing special new moments with their fans.
